This event is for residents only.

Residents are asked to bring just papers and documents in loose form.

Documents that are encouraged to be shredded include those with credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, and bank account information.

2018 Lawrence County Tax Outreach

Lawrence County Treasurer, Richard Repone is please to announce the 2018 Tax Outreach Program. County property taxes will be collected at the discount amount. Methods of payment are cash, check, or money order.

Treasurer Rapone will be at the Borough Building on Monday April 23, 2018 from 10 AM – 12 Noon.

2018 Pool Employment

Pool Staff Wanted

New Wilmington Borough is seeking staff for the 2018 summer pool season. Applicants must be able to work both weekdays and weekends, afternoon and evening shifts.

Available positions include:

Lifeguards (Must be certified BEFORE first day of work)

Office/Concession Staff



New Wilmington Borough is seeking to fill the position for two, part time co-managers.

Each position will be 20 hours a week at a rate of $10 an hour.

Both managers hired will be required to work closely together to ensure pool operations run smoothly.

Duties Include:

  • Oversee the staff, patrons, and general operations of the pool.
  • Schedules the staff, including both lifeguards and office/concession employees.
  • Responsible for keeping the cash drawers balanced and kept at a low balance.
  • Maintain a clean environment both in the pool house and in the areas around the pool.
  • Communicate frequently with the Borough Office.
  • Make nightly deposits.
  • Keep an accurate schedule of reserved parties using the party room.
    • Responsible for keeping the party room clean and set up appropriately for each party.

Applications must be submitted by 4Pm on Monday April 2, 2018.

Full Day Rental: $100 Rental Fee and $75 Security Deposit

Half Day Rental: $75 Rental Fee and $50 Security Deposit
