House Bill 1405

If you would like to write a letter(s) of concern regarding this bill, a list of Representative’s and their addresses is attached for your convenience.

Local Government House Committee Members

The Borough has spoken to our Representative Parke Wentling as well as Vance Oakes, Manager of Grove City Borough and President of the Pennsylvania Municipal Electric Association, who have both been extremely helpful.

The process requires the House of Representatives to have the bill voted on in the Local Government Committee with a majority of members voting in favor to send the bill to the House floor for consideration by all the State Representatives.  Assuming it is approved by the full House, the bill is then transferred to the Senate where the process starts over with a committee hearing in the Senate.

New Wilmington Borough is committed to working hard to protect our community interests.

We would encourage you to show your support to oppose HB1405 by contacting your representatives.
