Full Time Public Works:
New Wilmington Borough is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Public Works position. The preferred applicant will have three years of experience in the construction and/or maintenance of municipal infrastructure including water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, and roadways.
Highly qualified applicants will possess one or more of the following:
- Carpentry experience
- General Maintenance experience
- CDL class B with air endorsement.
Also preferred are:
- Electric distribution experience
- Sewer collection system operators license
- Water distribution license
- Experience in heavy equipment operation related to construction and utilities.
Applicants must possess a PA driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, successfully complete a criminal background check, and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
