PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that New Wilmington Borough will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 7pm, before a Specially Designated Zoning Hearing Board, at the New Wilmington Borough building located at 134 High Street, New Wilmington, PA 16142.

The purpose of the hearing will be to consider the following:

Appeal 25-001: application of Robert C. Ward Jr. “Applicant”, pertaining to property located at 238 Meadowbrook Drive, New Wilmington, PA 16142, being within the A-Residence Zoning District. Applicant appeals the Zoning Officer’s determination, dated January 23, 2025 finding that short-term rental use (e.g., Airbnb) are not a permitted use within the A-Residence Zoning District under the New Wilmington Borough Zoning Ordinance. Applicant seeks a variance under Zoning Chapter #275.
