- Everything must be at the curb by 7:00AM on collection day. The chipper will only make one pass and will not do backyard pickups.
- Nothing over 4 inches in diameter and keep limbs in long lengths.
- Do not tie limbs together or put in garbage bags or cans. Lay limbs loose with the larger ends closer to the roadway.
- No roots, rocks, or thorny bushes are permitted. Thorny bushes include rose bushes, grape vines, forsythias, greenbrier.
THE BOROUGH WILL NOT COLLECT LARGE JOBS LEFT FROM TREE SERVICES. ANYTHING THAT CANNOT GO THROUGH THE CHIPPER WILL BE LEFT AT THE CURB FOR THE PROPERTY OWER TO DISPOSE OF.
Leaf Collection:

- Rake leaves to the curb in piles
- Live on a State Route? Rake leaves onto the curb NOT roadway.
- Borough roads may rake leaves into the roadway curb.
- No backyard or bagged collection.
Spring Bulk Clean Up:
May 9
- Have items to curb no earlier or later than the evening before scheduled pickup.
- NO hazardous materials or chemicals such as liquid paints, florescent bulbs, propane tanks, or batteries.
- NO items containing freon including air conditioning units, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers.
- NO E-Waste such as TV’s, computers, printers, monitors.
- Household Hazardous Waste pickup can be scheduled by calling TriCounty at 724-748-4705.
- NO extra bagged trash – bulk items only.
- NO yard waste such as sod, dirt, bushes or limbs.
