New Wilmington Borough is seeking enthusiastic and customer focused individuals to join our concession team at the pool facilities. Concession staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and selling food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all patrons.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and scan them into the pool facilities.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare food and beverages according to safety and quality standards.
- Accept and handle payments using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain assigned concession areas, keeping them clean, organized, and safe.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and menu items.
- Adhere to all pool rules, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-service environment.
Required for all pool positions:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Pennsylvania Criminal Background Clearance
- FBI Criminal History Clearance (Fingerprint for applicants over 18; Parent form if under 18)
- Work Permit (if under 18)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving food preparation.
- Must be able to lift and carry items as needed.
Work Schedule:
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on pool schedule.
