NEW WILMINGTON BOROUGH
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
Notice is hereby given that the New Wilmington Borough Council will consider at its monthly meeting to be held on July 6, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the New Wilmington Borough Municipal Building, 134 High Street, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, 16142, along with such other general business matters as may come before the Council, an ordinance of New Wilmington Borough, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, amending chapter 266 of the codified ordinances of the Borough of New Wilmington, titled “Vehicles and Traffic,” Article I, to amend §§ 266-5, 266-8, 266-11, 266-14, 266-17, and 266-18, to add certain general parking, standing and stopping prohibitions, to add certain specific no-parking and time-limited parking restrictions, to provide for disability-reserved parking enforcement and towing, to revise violations and penalties, and to authorize necessary signs and markings.
Section 1 provides for Amendment of §266-5; Section 2 provides for Amendment of §266-8(A); Section 3 provides for Amendment of §266-11; Section 4 provides for Amendment of §266-14; Section 5 provides for Amendment of §266-17; Section 6 provides for Amendment of §266-18(A); Section 7 provides for Amendment of §266-19; Section 8 provides for Signage and markings; Section 9 provides for Repealer; Section 10 provides for Continuation of Existing Regulations and Codifications; Section 11 provides for Severability; Section 12 provides for Effective Date.
