Some items such as old CD’s, VHS, Christmas lights, and plastic bags can be hard to recycle as they are not acceptable items in a normal recycling pickup.  The flyer below lists locations and dates for hard to recycle items free of charge for residential customers. Any questions relating to items that may or may not be acceptable can be directed to the Lawrence- Mercer Recycling Waste Department at 724-658-6925.
